Sales Consultant - High End Residential & Custom Builds - MA
Identifying and securing new business opportunities for our custom home remodeling services. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, develop detailed project proposals, and ensure projects run smoothly from initial contact through completion.

My client is a premier custom home remodeling construction company specializing in high-end residential renovations. We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Sales Representative to join our dynamic team and help drive the growth of our business.
Description
- Client Qualification: Qualify clients based on budget and time constraints to ensure projects align with company capabilities.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to determine the scope of remodeling projects, providing expert guidance and recommendations to meet their needs.
- Project Estimation & Presentation: Estimate and package projects, preparing comprehensive proposals to present to clients.
- Site Assessments: Complete field measurements, conceptual drawings, and detailed construction drawings. Prepare preliminary structural drawings to submit to a Structural Engineer.
- Ongoing Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients throughout the duration of their projects to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
- Project Inspections: Conduct project inspections alongside the Lead Carpenter, Company President, Director of Production, and the client to ensure quality and progress.
- Additional Duties: Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support business development and project management efforts.
- Travel Requirements: Travel 1-2 times per year to attend trade shows and occasional site visits to client locations.
Profile
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of proven sales experience in the high end residential homes & custom building space.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or project management within the construction or remodeling industry.
- Must possess a deep understanding of the construction/home renovation process + high end residential & custom buildings; must possess a good understanding of all trades relevant to residential construction.
- Strong understanding of residential remodeling and construction processes, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
- Understand job costs and estimation. Ability to effectively negotiate.
- Strong communication, job coordination, organizational, leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to interact and communicate well with the client throughout the job
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client site visits and trade shows.
