Sales Representative - Labels - Ohio

Michael Page Akron, OH (Onsite) Full-Time
$80,000 - $200,000/Year

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in pressure-sensitive labels to drive new business development and territory growth. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building long-term customer relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities.

Client Details

Label and packaging organization that specializes in custom product labels within the food, beverage, cosmetic, manufacturing, and industrial industry.

Description

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to build and expand a robust sales pipeline.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and technical support) to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report sales activity, forecasts, and market trends using CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Profile

  • Must have prior experience in pressure-sensitive label sales
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, business development, and territory management.
  • Strong understanding of label converting, packaging solutions, and customer applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Not for New York City Applicants.

Job Offer

  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience). $80-200K
  • Commission structure based on performance.
  • Benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
