Superintendent - Custom Homes - Cape Cod, MA
Our client is looking for an experience Superintendent to join their team in Falmouth, MA. Our client specializes in custom homes up to $20M and has projects scattered throughout the cape. The Superintendent will be responsibile for handling projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, and coordinating subs. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience as a Construction Manager.

Description
Superintendent - Custom Homes - Cape Cod, MA - Responsibilities
- Overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring the project runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and meets quality standards.
- Managing the workforce, including subcontractors, laborers, and other site personnel. Ensuring proper communication and collaboration among all team members.
- Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Monitoring the work to ensure it meets the project's specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Addressing any issues that arise with construction quality.
- Developing and maintaining construction schedules, coordinating activities between various trades, and ensuring timely completion of project phases.
- Assisting with cost management, ensuring that the project stays within budget. Overseeing material procurement, equipment usage, and inventory.
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the construction site and project managers, architects, engineers, and clients. Providing regular updates on project progress
Profile
Superintendent - Custom Homes - Cape Cod, MA - Will have
- Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience as a (full-fledged) Superintendent in residential construction, with a strong focus on single-family, high end custom homes and renovations.
- Proven track record of managing residential projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Holds MA-CSL
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
