AR Specialist
Our client is looking to bring on an AR Specialist who will be responsible for creating, improving, and implementing procedures. This candidate will also have helping with their transition from Quickbooks to Netsuite.

Description
- Conduct forensic analysis of existing accounting processes.
- Identify gaps in the current system and implement new, streamlined processes.
- Develop a comprehensive playbook for billing, cash application, and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to centralize billing functions across various locations.
- Analyze customer contracts to ensure compliance and reduce chargebacks.
- Train staff on new procedures and systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Work closely with the CFO and Controller to align accounting functions with strategic goals.
Profile
- Proven experience in process improvement within accounting functions.
- Strong forensic accounting and analytical skills, particularly in AR.
- Familiarity with retail environments, dealing with large retailers (Walmart, TJ Maxx, etc.).
- Expertise in QuickBooks and NetSuite (or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills for data segmentation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Strong communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Hybrid position requiring some on-site work in Monmouth, NJ.
