Client Details

Our client is in the Construction/Professional Services sector located in the Greater Boston Area. The position is 5 days a week in the office.

Description

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and opportunities for growth.
• Oversee the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business models.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and proactively manage variances.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective controls to mitigate them.
• Oversee insurance, bonding, and legal compliance related to construction projects and company operations.
• Manage the finance and accounting team, fostering professional development and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers to analyze job costing, profitability, and cash flow management.
• Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and funding strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, bonding companies, and other financial stakeholders.
• Partner with the leadership team on key business initiatives, client expansion, and diversification of services.
• Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and tools to enhance decision-making and reporting accuracy.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Degree
• CPA/Master's Degree Preferred
• 15 - 20+ years of Construction Accounting Tenure Essential
• 10+ years in a Top Finance Leader Position
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with Executive and Operational Leadership
• Systems: Sage300/Timberline, Procore or similar Construction Softwares

Job Offer

• Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000+
