Design Engineer | Delaware County, NY
Our client is looking for a Design Engineer who can manage the design, development, construction and modification of new and existing products and manufacturing processes from conception to implementation. This hire will join an expanding design team that's responsible for turnkey product solutions for clients of all levels.

With over 30 patents awarded for their game-changing designs, our client is integral to moving the sports construction and venue renovation industries forward.
Description
- Design and develop innovative solutions in the sports construction design space and see them through from concept to production to installation.
- Specify and design components, sub-assemblies, hardware, and bill of materials (BOM) for projects of varying scales.
- Work with Professional Engineering partners to ensure structural integrity of design.
- Interface with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, Vendors & Customers regarding Engineering designs and production.
- Produce engineering and customer documentation/drawings for prototype & production releases.
- Continuously evolve processes and designs to improve efficiencies and reduce cost.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Profile
Skills:
- Excellent work ethic within a team-first environment.
- Must have attention to detail with high quality output.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Familiar with ERP systems a plus.
- Familiar with Steel and Aluminum Fabrication and Machining processes a plus.
- Familiar with CAD Software (Solidworks preferred).
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years equivalent design and/or manufacturing experience will be considered.
Job Offer
- Salary range is $55-75k/annually, DOE.
