Junior Estimator

The Junior Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed proposals within the property and construction industry. This role requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure successful project outcomes.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to align budgets and expectations.
• Research and maintain updated knowledge of market trends and material costs.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
• Track project changes and update cost projections accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful Junior Estimator should have:

• Exposure to commercial, industrial, or tilt-up construction projects is ideal.
• 1-3 years of estimating or related construction experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Close proximity to Corona.
