Legal Secretary (West Hartford)
The Legal Secretary will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to attorneys in the West Hartford office. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for all the legal professionals this role supports.

Description
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage attorneys' calendars, scheduling meetings, court dates, and appointments.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare related expense reports.
- Handle client communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and records for easy retrieval.
- Assist with billing processes, including preparing and sending invoices to clients.
- Conduct research and gather information for legal cases as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the office.
Profile
A successful Legal Secretary should have:
- 2+ years of legal secretary experience required.
- Experience in probate, trusts, and estates preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience supporting attorneys or in a professional services environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Offer
