Description

Quality Program Manager responsibilities:

  • Oversee Quality Management System (QMS): Ensure the QMS aligns with ISO 9001:2015 standards and meets both internal and external requirements.

  • Develop Quality Objectives: Establish measurable goals to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct Internal Audits: Regularly assess processes to verify compliance with established quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement: Promote initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.

  • Manage Non-Conformances: Address product or process deviations by implementing corrective and preventive actions.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with various departments to integrate quality standards into all stages of product development and production.

  • Provide Training: Educate employees on quality policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality.

  • Monitor Supplier Quality: Evaluate and ensure that suppliers meet the company's quality standards.

  • Report to Management: Communicate quality performance metrics and improvement plans to senior leadership.

  • Stay Updated on Industry Standards: Keep abreast of changes in quality regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Profile

Quality Program Manager:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree

  • Professional Experience: Extensive experience in quality management and project management, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.

  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are advantageous.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001:2015.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and quality assurance methodologies to identify trends and implement improvements.

  • Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing quality initiatives.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure products and processes meet stringent quality standards.
