Pricing Manager
The Competitive Pricing Manager will develop pricing strategies and recommendations across product categories using tools like demand modeling, automation, and cluster analysis. They will assess financial impacts to optimize pricing for profitability and revenue growth in an omnichannel platform.

My client is a growing materials and design company, offering innovative technology and products. They are PE backed, and hoping to double in size in the next 2-3 years.
Description
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer preferences that impact pricing decisions.
- Perform in-depth cost analysis of product expenses, ensuring pricing aligns with profit margin goals.
- Develop pricing strategies for all channels, considering factors like product uniqueness, target audience, and value proposition.
- Recommend tiered pricing, bundling, and promotions to maximize revenue across different customer segments.
- Collaborate with teams to implement pricing strategies smoothly and align with business objectives.
- Analyze historical sales data to identify patterns, utilizing models to simulate and forecast revenue impacts of pricing changes.
- Design and execute price tests, monitoring customer response and financial outcomes to refine pricing strategies.
- Generate reports and dashboards to assess pricing performance, presenting actionable insights to management.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, data analytics, finance, omnichannel retailing, or similar fields, including cross-functional team collaboration and financial metric analysis.
- Proven background in price management, merchandising, financial planning and analysis, store operations, or logistics.
- Experience as a Lead Merchant or Pricing Lead in an omnichannel retail environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and SQL (preferred, not required).
- Ability to interpret data elements and drive insights for pricing and promotion strategies.
