A reputable general contractor in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Superintendent with expertise in ground-up commercial construction. This is an opportunity to oversee high-quality projects, lead dynamic teams, and ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.

Description
- Manage daily construction site operations for ground-up commercial projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project workflows and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure job site safety compliance by implementing and enforcing OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Oversee construction progress, including inspections, material deliveries, and troubleshooting potential delays or concerns.
- Maintain consistent and open communication with clients, architects, and stakeholders regarding project milestones.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent role with a strong background in ground-up commercial construction projects. They are highly organized, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and have proven success in managing multiple teams and subcontractors. A track record of delivering high-quality projects on time is essential, as is proficiency with construction software and scheduling tools. OSHA certification and knowledge of Florida building codes are highly desired.
