Senior Project Manager- Healthcare Construction
A leading general contractor specializing in VA Hospital construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of construction, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Our client is a well-established general contractor with a robust portfolio of government and healthcare projects, including several VA Hospital developments. With decades of experience, they have a reputation for delivering quality, mission-critical infrastructure projects for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Description
Lead and manage multiple VA Hospital construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to, maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Oversee the coordination of site logistics, scheduling, procurement, and safety protocols.
Review and approve project designs, budgets, contracts, and change orders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering positive client relationships and providing project updates.
Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to industry standards.
Profile
Proven experience (7+ years) as a Senior Project Manager in the construction of healthcare or government projects, ideally VA Hospitals or similar complex facilities.
Strong knowledge of VA construction regulations and healthcare building codes.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
