Senior Project Manager- Healthcare Construction

A leading general contractor specializing in VA Hospital construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of construction, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Description

• Lead and manage multiple VA Hospital construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to, maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Oversee the coordination of site logistics, scheduling, procurement, and safety protocols.

• Review and approve project designs, budgets, contracts, and change orders.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering positive client relationships and providing project updates.

• Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to industry standards.

Profile

• Proven experience (7+ years) as a Senior Project Manager in the construction of healthcare or government projects, ideally VA Hospitals or similar complex facilities.

• Strong knowledge of VA construction regulations and healthcare building codes.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
