Multifamily work will range in style of build from high acreage garden style projects to mid and high-rise work downtown, while custom home projects will value $5M+.The team is truly a one-stop shop with Owning, Developing, and then self-performing construction for each project delivered, and is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead this function within their Multifamily work. Description

Reporting into the Vice President of Construction, the Preconstruction Manager - Multifamily Developer will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Provide leadership to project team
• Foster and enhance architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
• Establish, update, and communicate the Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
• May work with preconstruction team in development of project
• Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
• Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.

Profile

The successful Preconstruction Manager - Multifamily Developer will have the following:

• 8+ Years of Estimating and Preconstruction Experience
• Experience as an Estimator on large Commercial or Multifamily projects - $10M+
• A Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related-field is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Local to Phoenix preferred but relocators will be considered as well
