Manufacturing Design Engineer- Electronics- Devens, MA
The Manufacturing Design Engineer will be a key player in the design and development of of new manufacturing process as well as making improvements to current products and managing full product life cycles.

The family owned business is an expanding manufacturer in the battery and sensor space with immense growth over the last 5 years, just under 100 people in their onsite facility in over $100M in revenue a year.
Description
The Manufacturing Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Manage new product projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Oversee tooling design, procurement, and implementation to ensure timely production.
- Conduct cost analysis, DFM reviews, and process evaluations to optimize efficiency.
- Optimize processes to reduce scrap, labor costs, setup time, and lead time.
- Justify and oversee the purchase, installation, and integration of capital equipment.
- Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and equipment to maintain production quality.
Profile
The successful Manufacturing Design Engineer will have what follows:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology-related field (e.g., Mechanical, General, or Industrial Engineering).
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role.
- Ability to lead capital and new product projects from concept to full implementation, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in project management is a plus.
