Private Markets Analyst - Early Career Track

A globally active institutional investment platform is seeking a high-performing Investment Analyst to join its Private Equity and Venture Capital team in San Francisco. This role offers exposure to direct, co-investment, and fund strategies across global markets, with a focus on rigorous analysis, deal execution, and portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Support investment due diligence across PE and VC opportunities, including market research, financial modeling, and risk analysis
• Assist in deal execution and post-investment monitoring for direct and fund investments
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees
• Track portfolio performance and contribute to quarterly and annual reporting
• Collaborate with global investment teams across multiple geographies

Profile

Qualifications

• 1-7 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or institutional asset management
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Exposure to fund investing, co-investments, or direct deals preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or CFA a plus
• International experience or cross-border investment exposure is a bonus
• Korean language skills a plus but not required

Job Offer

Competitive base salary range of $135,000 - $170,000.
