Description

• Reporting directly to the Director of Estimating
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive and competitive bid proposals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure optimal pricing and resource availability.
• Participate in project planning, value engineering, and risk assessment to support successful project execution.
• Manage the bidding process, including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Present cost estimates and proposals to internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence.

Profile

The Construction Estimator will possess:

• 5+ years experience as an estimator
• Experience estimating life science, healthcare, commercial, retail or academic projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with estimating software and tools; experience with Procore, bluebeam, P6 or similar systems is a plus.
• Resides within commuting distance of Quincy, MA, and has familiarity with the Greater Boston construction market.
