Employee Relations Spec.- F.S.- Jersey City (3 days)- $70-85K
Join a global financial services firm as an Employee Relations Specialist, where you'll resolve employee issues, coach managers, and help shape a positive workplace culture. Description
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters across U.S. and Bermuda offices.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance, behavior concerns, investigations, and organizational changes.
- Advise employees and leaders on workplace policies and best practices.
- Manage low-complexity ER cases independently and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Support projects such as policy development, leadership presentations, and process enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with HRBPs, HR Ops, and Shared Services teams to ensure a consistent and compliant employee experience.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace.
Profile
- 2-4+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a clear focus on employee relations.
- Comfortable navigating ER cases such as performance concerns, feedback conversations, and investigations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident interacting with both junior and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to advise, coach, and influence managers independently.
- Bachelor's degree or SHRM certification required.
- Prior experience in a corporate or professional services environment preferred
- Familiarity with U.S. employment laws and best practices.

- Target salary of $80,000 plus a 15% annual bonus.
