Description

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Specify, procure, and commission manufacturing equipment; manage preventive maintenance schedules.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to materials, equipment, and processes.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Use data-driven approaches to monitor and improve production metrics.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or related industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and improvement strategies.
• Excellent leadership and project management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Knowledge/experience in welding and CNC machining.
