Description

The Electrical Hardware Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Design, prototype, and test battery manufacturing components and devices.
  • Optimize and refine manufacturing processes, working closely with process and operations teams.
  • Analyze process performance to drive design improvements based on first-principles engineering.
  • Develop electromechanical designs, translating lab-scale and prototype observations into scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate on design, fabrication, implementation, and evaluation of prototype systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of design iterations, testing, and process improvements.

Profile

The successful Electrical Hardware Engineer will have what follows:

  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with programming languages and hardware integration, including MATLAB, Python, Arduino, and Teensy)
  • Familiar with multiple fabrication techniques (e.g., mill, lathe, laser cutter, 3D printer, breadboard, PCB layout)
