The Electromechanical Hardware Engineer will be a key player in the development and design of new technology in the battery automotive space.

Description
The Electrical Hardware Engineer will be responsible for:
- Design, prototype, and test battery manufacturing components and devices.
- Optimize and refine manufacturing processes, working closely with process and operations teams.
- Analyze process performance to drive design improvements based on first-principles engineering.
- Develop electromechanical designs, translating lab-scale and prototype observations into scalable solutions.
- Collaborate on design, fabrication, implementation, and evaluation of prototype systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of design iterations, testing, and process improvements.
Profile
The successful Electrical Hardware Engineer will have what follows:
- BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with programming languages and hardware integration, including MATLAB, Python, Arduino, and Teensy)
- Familiar with multiple fabrication techniques (e.g., mill, lathe, laser cutter, 3D printer, breadboard, PCB layout)
