Description
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver commercial and public sector construction projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation using tools like Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication between stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project status reports, change orders, and cost tracking documentation to clients and senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best practices in project delivery and team collaboration.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferably in the NYC market.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, and teams effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
