Construction Estimator

The Construction Estimator will play a key role in preparing detailed estimates, analyzing project specifications, and working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Description

As Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up commercial and residential projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with project management and field teams to develop project budgets
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and evaluate cost-saving alternatives
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing
• Assist in bid presentations and preconstruction planning

Profile

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator (ground-up experience required)
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage, or similar)
• Ability to read/interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
