Assistant Project Manager

Description
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of the construction process, from preconstruction through project closeout.
Help manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders.
Communicate daily with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of work.
Attend site meetings and assist with schedule tracking, cost updates, and quality control.
Collaborate with the field team to support site logistics, safety tracking, and issue resolution.
Maintain project records and ensure systems (e.g., Procore or similar software) are consistently up to date.
Learn to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules-building your expertise from the ground up.
Profile
The ideal candidate is an emerging construction professional with a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent work experience. You're highly organized, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You have excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset, always looking for ways to stay ahead of challenges and support the project team. Previous internship or co-op experience in construction is a plus, but not required.
