VDC Manager - Water Treatment

VDC Manager opportunity with an ENR ranked General Contractor working on a Water Treatment Plant project.

Client Details

ENR ranked General Contractor doing over $2B/year in revenue. Starting off working on a Water Treatment Plant project but will be able to pursue additional projects down the line. 100% Employee owned company.

Description

• Design and plan virtual data center architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Oversee virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) for server, storage, and network management.
• Optimize resource allocation and utilization for storage, computing, and networking.
• Manage integration between virtual data centers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, coordinating with support teams as needed.
• Develop and test data backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, collaborating across departments.
• Monitor and optimize operating costs of virtualized infrastructure and cloud resources.
• Maintain documentation and generate regular performance and status reports.

Profile

• At least one year of experience working as a VDC manager
• Must have experience working on Water Treatment Plants
