Director of Quality - Electronics
The Director of Quality - Electronics will lead quality management system (QMS) initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement within the organization. This role will focus on delivering exceptional quality processes and fostering a culture of operational excellence in the engineering and manufacturing department.

Description
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
- Oversee quality assurance processes, including internal audits, 8D/CAPA, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and monitor quality metrics, including SPC/CPK and MSA/Gage R&R, to ensure consistent product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement PFMEA/DFMEA processes and ensure product reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC‑A‑610 Class 2/3, AS9100, and IATF 16949 as applicable.
- Manage design of experiments (DOE) to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Provide leadership and training to internal teams on quality procedures and best practices.
- Support operational teams in meeting customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance goals.

Profile
A successful Director of Quality - Electronics should have:
- Proficiency in leading QMS initiatives and driving compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 Class 2/3, AS9100, and IATF 16949 standards.
- Experience with quality tools such as 8D, CAPA, PFMEA/DFMEA, SPC/CPK, and MSA/Gage R&R.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to design and execute DOE experiments.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to guide teams and promote a quality-first culture.
- Knowledge of internal auditing processes to maintain and enhance compliance.
