This Estimator role offers the opportunity to join a well‑established, multi‑disciplinary commercial contractor with a strong regional footprint. You will support a broad portfolio of commercial and institutional projects, working closely with operations and leadership to deliver accurate, competitive estimates that drive profitable growth.

With multiple offices, hundreds of employees, and several specialized divisions, they are known for delivering integrated solutions to commercial property owners and managers. Their reputation is built on service quality, long‑term client relationships, and repeat business across diverse asset types.Description
As the Estimator, you will report to senior preconstruction leadership and play a critical role in supporting business development and project delivery.- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction and property service projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to determine accurate pricing
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Develop take‑offs across multiple trades including sitework, concrete, asphalt, and building envelope
- Collaborate with project managers to transition awarded work into execution
- Identify cost risks, value‑engineering opportunities, and scope gaps
- Support pricing strategies for negotiated and competitive bid work
Profile
For the Estimator role, we are seeking:- Experience as an Estimator within commercial construction or general contracting
- Exposure to projects such as multifamily, office, retail, industrial, or institutional buildings
- Strong understanding of estimating processes, cost control, and procurement
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
