Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary:
My Client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support their Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. As an integral part of our project management team, you will help ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.

Their team is built on a foundation of integrity, collaboration, and excellence, and we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects.
  • Support Project Managers in maintaining project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Help monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned and maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain safety standards on job sites in collaboration with the safety team.
  • Troubleshoot issues and help resolve problems as they arise on the job site.
  • Provide administrative support, including meeting minutes, project reports, and daily logs.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
