Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a high-end, multifamily, new construction project in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise in luxury multifamily residential construction and will be able to manage complex projects from pre-construction through completion.

Description

• Manage all aspects of the high-end multifamily residential project, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, overseeing progress throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and client expectations are met.
• Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with NYC building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors and trades to ensure adherence to the construction schedule, quality standards, and contract specifications.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays, offering solutions to keep the project on track.
• Monitor financial performance, including cost tracking, change orders, and budget forecasts.
• Conduct regular site inspections and manage quality control to ensure the highest standard of workmanship.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all required permits, inspections, and approvals are obtained and maintained throughout the project.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required with significant experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically in high-end multifamily new construction in NYC.
• Have to have experience bringing a building out of the ground.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-end residential projects from start to finish.
• In-depth knowledge of NYC building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• OSHA certification and familiarity with NYC safety regulations are a plus.
