My client is a reputable General Contractor with deep experience in healthcare construction across New York City. They specialize in complex renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance-driven projects within active hospital and medical environments. They are currently seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to lead field operations on projects in Manhattan.

Description

• Oversee daily site operations for healthcare construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics in active medical environments
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols (ICRA), DOH regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain project schedules, quality control, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, project managers, and inspectors
• Conduct daily walkthroughs and manage punch lists and closeout procedures
• Troubleshoot field issues and proactively resolve conflicts

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in healthcare or hospital construction
• Strong understanding of ICRA, DOH, and Joint Commission requirements
• Proven ability to manage work in occupied facilities with minimal disruption
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 certification required
• NYC construction experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
