Commercial Superintendent - Columbus

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations and lead on-site teams from groundbreaking through project completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and safety while maintaining excellent communication with project managers, owners, and design teams.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all field operations and ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards
• Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
• Manage project schedules and proactively address potential delays
• Conduct and document daily reports, safety meetings, and inspections
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure alignment on cost, quality, and schedule goals
• Enforce company and OSHA safety standards on-site
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and project stakeholders

Profile

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Experience managing projects ranging from $5M-$50M preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project (or similar software)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
