Jr. Construction Estimator

We are seeking a motivated Jr. Construction Estimator to join our construction team within the property industry. This role focuses on assisting with cost estimation processes to ensure project accuracy and efficiency in Buffalo.

Description

• Support the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects.
• Analyze project documents, blueprints, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Assist in identifying and evaluating cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain and update project cost databases and records.
• Participate in project meetings to provide input on cost-related matters.
• Monitor project costs and compare them to the original estimates to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Support the preparation of bid proposals and other documentation as needed.

Profile

A successful Jr. Construction Estimator should have:

• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Fast paced retail expereince
• Familiarity with construction estimation tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management concepts.
