Assistant Project Manager - Construction
A well-established General Contractor in South Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support ground-up and interior commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity for a driven construction professional to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced Project Managers, and grow within a reputable company.

This General Contractor specializes in ground-up and interior commercial projects across various sectors, including retail, office, healthcare, and industrial. With a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking for an APM eager to develop their career and take on more responsibility over time.
Description
- Assist in managing ground-up and interior commercial projects from start to finish.
- Support the Project Manager with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
- Help oversee procurement, permitting, and compliance processes.
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in a project support or coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software like Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
