Description

Quality Manager key responsibilities:

• Oversee the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process, including customer requests, return evaluations, and authorization issuance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, providing timely updates and resolution support.
• Lead a team of engineers in performing failure analysis on returned products and preparing technical reports.
• Analyze return data and generate performance metrics, such as PPM (parts per million) and cycle time to closure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to address and resolve product-related issues.
• Drive corrective and preventive action initiatives based on customer feedback and product performance trends.
• Align customer satisfaction goals with internal quality processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Implement systems to capture and analyze customer feedback, using insights to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Profile

Quality Manager successful qualities:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, or other engineering degree
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage direct reports effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, RMA processes, and customer-facing quality standards.
• Experience with failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
• Proficiency in analyzing quality data and generating actionable performance metrics and reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with electronic components or power systems, along with technical aptitude for problem-solving.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, balancing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
