Description

The CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Operations Manager and be responsible for:

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Review blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to determine machining strategy.
• Select tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and fixtures to maximize productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to operators on the shop floor.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes to reduce cycle times and increase throughput.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and customer requirements.

Profile

• Associate's or Technical degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of CNC programming experience (Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or similar preferred).
• Strong understanding of G-code, CNC machining practices, and toolpath strategies.
• Experience with fabrication processes such as welding, sheet metal, and assembly is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
