Assistant Project Manager - Award Winning GC
One of Wisconsin's most dynamic general contractors is seeking an assistant project manager to grow with the company for the long-term. This company was recently named one of the fastest growing construction firms in the state and is presenting a unique opportunity to get in early. This client was recently named one of the fastest-growing construction firms in all of Southeast Wisconsin. Founded by executives from larger GCs, they are looking to add an assistant project manager who wants to grow with the company for the long-haul in both responsibility and compensation.

Description
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating daily operations across commercial construction projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget targets are met.
- Support preparation and management of project schedules using tools such as CPM to track milestones, deliverables, and critical paths.
- Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure subcontractor compliance and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including issuing RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and tracking long-lead materials.
- Monitor project costs, process change orders, and assist with budget forecasting and monthly financial reporting.
- Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control, safety compliance with OSHA standards, and adherence to project plans.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and closeout packages.
Profile
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to act as a main point of contact for key clients
- Passion for construction
Job Offer
- Base salary of $70,000 to $90,000 dependent on qualifications
- Yearly bonus of 10% of base salary
- Yearly profit sharing contribution of an additional 10% of base salary
