Superintendent - Commercial General Contractor

Description

• Oversee day to day on site construction activities to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and field sequencing.
• Enforce company safety standards and lead daily and weekly safety meetings.
• Review plans, specs, and project documents to confirm constructability and resolve field issues.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, RFIs, and site documentation.
• Work closely with the Project Manager on scheduling, procurement needs, cost impacts, and change conditions.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure work aligns with plans and code requirements.
• Manage site logistics including site setup, temp utilities, access, parking, and material staging.
• Lead subcontractor meetings to review progress, upcoming work, and any coordination conflicts.
• Build strong relationships with clients, inspectors, owners reps, and design teams.
• Anticipate scheduling risks and proactively adjust manpower or sequencing to keep the project on track.
• Support punch list creation and closeout activities to ensure a smooth project turnover.

Profile

A successful Proactives professional should have:

• A strong understanding of construction processes within the property industry.
• Previous experience (4+ years) as Superintendent with General Contractor
• OSHA 30 certification
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary range of $88,500 - 123,000.
