- Build, lead, manage, and grow a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales quotas, with an emphasis on expanding our aftermarket consumable business.

My client is is a a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial printing equipment and supplies, serving a diverse array of industries with its innovative solutions. Their product lineup includes pad printing machines, digital inkjet printers, laser plate-makers, and associated consumables. They serve industries that include Promotional Products, Apparel and Textiles, Medical Devices, Sporting Goods, Automotive Parts, Electronic, Packaging and Labels, Glass and Ceramics, and Plastics and Metals.
Description
- Sales Leadership: Build, lead, manage, and grow a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales quotas, with an emphasis on expanding our aftermarket consumable business.
- Growth of Aftermarket Consumables: Develop targeted sales strategies to drive the growth of aftermarket consumable product lines, identifying opportunities to increase repeat sales and customer retention.
- Strategy Development: Implement sales strategies to improve customer acquisition, increase revenue from aftermarket consumables, and penetrate new customer/markets.
- Performance Monitoring: Track team performance using sales metrics, CRM tools, and reports to ensure consistent achievement of goals.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and development to sales representatives, particularly in the area of consumable products.
- Customer Engagement: Oversee and participate in direct interactions with customers to understand their aftermarket needs, resolve issues, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience, specifically for consumables.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with broader company objectives and ensure a seamless customer journey for aftermarket sales.
- Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management to guide the company's revenue planning, with a focus on consumable product lines.
- Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on trends in the aftermarket consumable space, including competitor activities and customer preferences, to adapt the sales approach accordingly.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management on team performance, challenges, and areas of opportunity, especially within the consumables segment.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales or a similar sales leadership role.
- Experience selling electronic hardware, printing products, or related products.
- Selling into automotive, textiles, apparel, electronics, packaging and labels, glass and ceramics, plastics and metals, sporting goods, or other related industries.
- Electronics industry experience preferred *
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment, particularly in aftermarket consumables or a related sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in coaching and developing sales talent.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, InFore and SyteLine) and other sales tools.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast sales, and make data-driven decisions, especially in the consumables market.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with managing remote or distributed teams is desirable.
