Construction Owner's Representative
As the Construction Owner's Representative, you will act as the liaison between the developer, the contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that construction projects are completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction process for our quick-service retail developments, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

My client is a dynamic real estate development firm based in the Philadelphia area, specializing in the development of quick-service retail properties. With a strong track record of delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget projects, we are looking to expand our team with a Construction Owner's Representative who will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.
Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters on assigned projects.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and track construction progress, identifying potential issues or delays and proactively addressing them.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
- Ensure that all permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are met and adhered to.
- Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders on project status, risks, and any potential issues.
- Ensure all safety protocols and practices are adhered to on-site.
- Assist with the resolution of disputes and challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Coordinate and manage the handover of completed projects, ensuring a smooth transition to operations.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management or as an owner's representative, ideally with a focus on retail, commercial, or quick-service restaurant projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management software, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
