Database Administrator
A client is seeking a Database Administrator to maintain the software managing their new database to ensure rapid and efficient access, while also safeguarding data security in coordination with IT security teams. The primary responsibility of the DBA is to keep the firm's information accessible and efficient despite high traffic and usage.

The client is an established law firm.
Description
- Install and upgrade database servers and application tools, and plan system storage requirements.
- Enroll users, maintain system security, and control user access to the database.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, and plan for backup and recovery of information.
- Ensure compliance with database vendor license agreements and manage data replication.
- Contact the database vendor for technical support, generate reports as needed, and act as a liaison with users.
Profile
- 3 -5 years of experience in IT and database administration, with availability for on-call emergencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and SQL, with knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI being a plus.
- Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and capable of meeting deadlines and deliverables.
- Innovative, flexible, and skilled in resource management, with strong team collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, with a relevant degree.
