Description

• Oversee the accounting and reporting for investment portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements related to investments in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audits and resolve any issues.
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency in investment accounting functions.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to team members within the accounting and finance department.
• Monitor and analyze investment performance, offering insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards in the insurance industry.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to support strategic initiatives.

Profile

A successful Manager, Investment Accounting should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in investment accounting, preferably within the insurance industry.
• GAAP and STAT knowledge
• Experience with Clearwater Analytics highly preferred
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
