My client is seeking an Engineering Design Supervisor to lead a team of designers in developing innovative heating solutions, ensuring projects meet performance, safety, and quality standards. Description

The Design Engineering Supervisor will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Lead and supervise a team of designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Oversee the design and development of new heating products and enhancements to existing product lines.
• Ensure all designs meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Marketing to support product development and continuous improvement.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to ensure successful product launches.
• Drive innovation by researching and implementing new design methodologies, materials, and technologies.
• Prepare and present technical reports, design reviews, and project updates to leadership.

Profile

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heating system design is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver results on time.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
