Assistant Project Manager
Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with 1-5 years of experience in high-end commercial interior construction. The role involves supporting project execution for upscale office and hospitality spaces across NYC, working closely with architects, subcontractors, and vendors. Our client is well-established, premiere, General Contractor based in Manhattan specialized in high-end interior construction for commercial projects (Offices and Hospitality projects) and they are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.
Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responible for the following:
Assist in managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Coordinate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors
Track schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Perform site walks and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained
Support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and within budget
Profile
1-5 years of experience with high-end commercial interior projects (office or hospitality preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in construction software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.) is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
