Client Details
My client is a reputable, General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 20+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial and healthcare spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work/projects and long-term growth of the organization!
Description
- Supervise daily construction operations and coordinate activities on-site
- Manage subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, incidents, and materials usage
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Identify and mitigate risks and delays proactively
Profile
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering).
- Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA certification.
- New construction and ground-up experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Leadership experience managing a large team.
