Construction Manager - Residential Contractor
As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction for single-family home projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members while maintaining strong communication with clients, architects, and internal teams.

My client is a premier single-family home builder located in bucks county, PA, specializing in custom-built homes that are known for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage residential construction projects from start to finish while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Description
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and other construction personnel.
- Conduct site inspections and provide hands-on supervision to ensure adherence to safety standards and building codes.
- Resolve issues on-site, including change orders, material shortages, and unforeseen delays.
- Manage project budgets, review estimates, and track costs to ensure profitability.
- Liaise with clients and architects to ensure their needs are met and that their vision for the home is achieved.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- Enforce compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction management, preferably with single-family homes.
- Proven experience managing all aspects of a construction project from pre-construction to completion.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Experience with project scheduling and budget management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.
