Manufacturing - Engineering Manager - Duxbury, MA
The Engineering Manager role combinies management responsibilities with active engineering work. You will oversee day-to-day engineering operations with a direct report while contributing to equipment design, process optimization, and project execution. The position requires a passion for the full engineering cycle-from concept through build-and experience across multiple disciplines such as mechanical, process, and electrical engineering.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Set priorities and manage engineering projects to ensure timely execution.
- Oversee design, prototyping, and validation of custom manufacturing equipment.
- Drive process improvements and implement advanced manufacturing solutions.
- Review engineering documentation for accuracy and manufacturability.
- Manage vendor relationships and sourcing for engineering-related materials.
- Represent Engineering in cross-functional leadership discussions.
- Support production teams with troubleshooting and equipment optimization.
- Utilize digital tools for workflow and project tracking.
- Participate in new product development and facility improvement initiatives.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of equipment design, pneumatics, drives & controls, and materials.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with machine shop equipment, PLC programming, and 5+ years in engineering leadership within manufacturing.
