Description

As an MCPPO Certified Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing projects for clients, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and MCPPO certification, you'll oversee all aspects of project execution, from initiation to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a meaningful impact on clients' success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies for successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate project milestones to stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and lessons learned reports.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations to support their strategic objectives.

Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • MCPPO certification (Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official) is required. Those without the MCPPO certification will not be considered.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with clients at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira) is preferred.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and delivering exceptional client service.
