Director of FP&A

Our client, an iconic sexual wellness brand based in Manhattan, is looking for an experienced Director of FP&A. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate will be immediately available to start a new role.

Client Details

Iconic sexual wellness brand based in Manhattan. This role is 3 days per week in office with 2 from home, and offers the chance for someone with 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods, to lead the financial operations for this sexual wellness brand.

Description

This role will involve:

• Drive financial performance through strategic analysis of product and customer profitability.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis in support of key business decisions.
• Provide insights into category, brand, and channel performance to inform financial strategy.
• Develop financial models that support pricing, market expansion, and ROI evaluations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure accurate, actionable data.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
• Mentor and develop a direct report within the finance team.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in CPG.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Fluent in Excel and experienced with ERP (D365, SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strategic thinker with a sharp analytical lens and strong communication skills.
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• High ownership mindset-proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented.
