Main duties and responsibilities include the following:• Establishes staging plans and manages site logistics and workflow.
• Reviews subcontractor scopes of work, submittals and invoices and provides feedback to Project Manager for compliance and coordination.
• Assists Project Manager in job cost reporting and budget control.
• Collaborates with Project Manager in maintaining and updating construction - schedules to identify and solve problems in pre-construction meetings prior to mobilization.
• Prepares daily reports, safety reports, schedules and supervises completion of final punch lists.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as required or needed.
• Assists with recruiting and hiring needs.
Trains field crew members, project engineers and junior superintendents and conducts safety orientations.
• Promotes job site safety and ensures employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy and regulatory requirements.
Rectifies any job site hazards immediately.
• Conducts weekly safety and progress meetings.
• Maintains a clean, organized job site at all times including the construction office.
• Performs other job duties as assigned and/or required.

Profile
Superintendent - Top General Contractor - Greenville should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of construction-related project management experience with a general contractor.
- Commercial construction experience is a must - Ideally over $10M
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, & scheduling
- Applicable construction management software experience
- Ability to organize, think ahead, plan and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Offer
Superintendent - Top General Contractor - Greenville will receive:
- Base salary between $90,000 to $130,000 - Dependent on experience
- Discretionary annual bonus
- 4% 401K match
- 3 Weeks PTO
