Equity Derivatives Business Analyst
This role supports front office trading teams by providing Level 1 functional and technical support for key Equity Derivatives platforms, including trade execution, booking, pricing, and risk management systems. It involves business analysis, incident management, and coordination with IT development teams to enhance application functionality.

This role is on site three days a week in New York, NY.
The client is a global financial institution with active trading operations in Equity Derivatives, and Securities Lending.
Description
Seeking a Business Analyst with experience supporting Equity and Equity Listed/OTC Options trading execution platforms-preferably Fidessa, EMSX, Dash, or similar (e.g., Flextrade)-along with knowledge of FIX messaging/gateways and booking systems.
Provide Level 1 functional and technical support for front office trading applications across Equity Derivatives and Delta One.
Collaborate with traders and stakeholders to gather business requirements and improve application functionality.
Log, manage, and escalate user-reported incidents to ensure timely resolution.
Test new features, bug fixes, and system updates to ensure they meet business needs.
Coordinate with IT development teams to implement enhancements and communicate status updates.
Profile
- Has prior experience in IT support or business analysis within a front office environment, ideally in Equity Derivatives.
Possesses strong knowledge of trading platforms like Fidessa, Dash, Sophis, or similar systems.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills to interact effectively with traders and support teams.
Job Offer
The role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $70 to $100, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
