The Safety Manager - Ground Up Projects up to $40M will oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance on construction projects. This role requires a proactive individual to maintain workplace safety and foster a culture of safety excellence.

• Office in Brookline, MA
• Projects throughout the Greater Boston area; primarily all 5 minutes from the office, along with projects in Lynn and Braintree
• Projects from $20M - $40M
• Projects: Academic, Historical Renovations, Smaller Multifamily, Restaurants, Healthcare
• Mid-size firm with owners coming from Large National GC, family owned business
• 30+ years in the industry

Description

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs for construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Provide training and resources to employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Investigate and report on incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
• Maintain updated records of safety training, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Stay informed of industry regulations and ensure the company's safety policies align with current standards.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.

Profile

• 5+ years experience in the Construction Industry
• Coming from reputable builder in the area
• A solid understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities to deliver training and collaborate with team members.
• A background in developing and implementing safety programs.
• Familiarity with incident investigation and reporting processes.
