Client Details
The Senior Accountant, Consolidations is responsible for owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process within a global consumer, retail, and brand‑licensing environment, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The role partners closely with cross‑functional teams and auditors while driving process improvements and supporting a fast‑paced, global reporting environment.Description
- The Senior Accountant, Consolidations owns and executes the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation process
- Prepare and review consolidation journal entries, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
- Analyze and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across multiple entities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Maintain and ensure accuracy within the consolidation system
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and external auditors on reporting matters
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with integrating newly acquired entities into the consolidation process
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant, Consolidations is a detail‑oriented accounting professional with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and close processes, who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, global reporting environment. The ideal profile comes from a Big 4 background (EY, PwC, Deloitte, or KPMG), bringing strong technical skills, experience with complex entities and intercompany activity, and the ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional teams. They are highly organized, analytically minded, and motivated by ownership, process improvement, and continued growth within a corporate accounting setting.Job Offer
$90,000-$110.000 base salary and a competetive benefits package!
